Listen Now: The Magdalen House Podcast Returns for Season 2

by | Jan 26, 2021 | #Support, Recover, Resources

The Magdalen House Podcast, which first launched in July 2020, is back for a second season and we couldn’t be more excited! Season two will include episodes from Recovered: Interviews With Alcoholic Women (formerly known as Interview With a Recovered Drunk), Big Book Workshops, and Studying the Steps. We also have plans to release a series called Hope for the Family, later this year.

About Each Podcast Series

Recovered is conducted live for participants in The Next Step program and recorded for the podcast. No two episodes are the same, each filled with the unique (or not so unique) experiences that make up our common solution.

Studying the Steps is conducted live for participants in The Next Step program and recorded for the podcast. Each episode is an in-depth study on a specific step (sometimes two) from the 12-Step of Alcoholics Anonymous, the curriculum used by The Magdalen House.

The Next Step program is open to any alcoholic woman at any stage of recovery.
More information can be found at magdalenhouse.org/nextstep.

Our Big Book Workshop Series is conducted live as part of our monthly workshop series and recorded for the podcast. Each episode is an in-depth look at a specific chapter of the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, the curriculum used by The Magdalen House.

Hope for the Family will launch later this year. Each episode will feature interviews and more from family members who have a loved one in recovery from or struggling with alcoholism and/or addiction.

Workshops are currently held on the third Sunday of every month at 1:00 pm (CST).
More information can be found at magdalenhouse.org/meetings.

Family Support meets every Wednesday at 6:30 pm (CST).
