At The Magdalen House, we recognize that recovery is a journey that extends beyond the walls of sober living environments. To support individuals in maintaining long-term sobriety and rebuilding their lives, we’ve curated a comprehensive resource list with various services and programs. This list is designed to connect clients with essential resources for housing, healthcare, mental health, career and educational support, and other important services.

How to Use the Resource List

To make the most of our resource list:

  1. Identify Your Needs: Assess your current situation to determine which resources align with your recovery goals.
  2. Reach Out: Contact the outside organizations directly using their contact information or email The Magdalen House Outreach Team if you need assistance finding or accessing a resource: outreach@magdalenhouse.org.
  3. Prepare Necessary Documents: Ensure you have any required documentation, such as identification or proof of income, when contacting service providers.
  4. Stay Engaged: Regularly check The Magdalen House Resource List on our website for updates and new resources that may be added.

Our list covers the following categories, besides housing, that you may find helpful:

Healthcare | Free or low-cost services for general practitioners, dental care, and vision.

Mental Health | Free or low-cost group therapy, individual therapy, mental health evaluations, and medication help.

Community | Encompasses all things not covered under our other categories. This includes services such as food pantries, clothing closets, educational classes, career, financial, and legal assistance.

The journey of recovery is unique to each individual, and our resource list reflects this. Our Outreach team is committed to vetting each resource and identifying services that are dedicated to removing as many barriers as possible to care.

“As Outreach Manager, I have seen many people benefit from this list, some with job placements and others finally getting the one-on-one therapy they needed. The Magdalen House Resource List serves as a valuable tool, connecting our community with essential services that support every facet of their lives. By actively engaging with these resources, individuals can build a strong foundation for their long-term recovery,” says Kendall Bose, Outreach Manager.
