Emily C & Sue Ann | A Way of Living That Has It’s Advantages for All | Hope for the Family

by | May 6, 2022 | Uncategorized

In this special Mother’s Day edition of “Hope for the Family,” we talk to Sue Ann & Emily side by side. Sue Anne is the mother to Emily, a recovered alcoholic, and together they share their own story of recovery and how alcoholism affected their life. We get to hear the same story but from two different unique perspectives. I hope this episode leaves you full of gratitude and wanting to call your Mom. Just like it did for me! Emily’s has been on with us before for our Recovered: Interviews with Alcoholic Women series. This podcast is made possible by donors to The Magdalen House. All donations help us to provide programs and services – including Family Support – to alcoholic women and their families, at absolutely no cost. If you’d like to donate, text MAGGIES to 44321 or visit magdalenhouse.org/donate. The Magdalen House is a 501c3 nonprofit organization helping women achieve sobriety and sustain recovery from alcoholism at no cost and based on 12-Step spiritual principles. You can learn more about The Magdalen House Family Support on our website. Please note, the curriculum we teach through our programs is from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. However, we are not an A.A. group and we are not associated with Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc.
