1. What do you do at The Magdalen House, and what does a “typical” day look like for you?
I come to The Magdalen House to be around people who share my experiences and understand my journey. I meet them where they are and help facilitate the best possible chance for them to start building the foundation needed for freedom from alcohol.
2. What is your favorite line in the Big Book and why?
“It was only a matter of being willing to believe in a Power greater than myself. Nothing more was required of me to make my beginning.” pg 12
This line was the instruction I needed to start my journey.
3. What’s something you’ve witnessed at The Magdalen House that inspires or moves you?
I witness the respect, the attentiveness, and the overall willingness of the clients who come here. They have the desperation of dying men.
4. How has working at The Magdalen House impacted your life?
Working at The Magdalen House has allowed me to feel purpose and fulfillment in my life.
5. What are some of your hobbies or things that you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
