The Magdalen House is proud to present The Haven for this quarter’s Community Partner Spotlight. The Haven provides top tier medical detox services and fantastic patient care and with their help we have been able to safely enter even more clients into our First Step Program.
As a trusted partner, The Haven has already referred 50 clients to The Magdalen House this year. The Haven’s Outreach Coordinator, Dillon Ortiz, who has been a champion for The Haven and The Magdalen House’s partnership, detailed his own experience working with our staff and volunteering for our Men’s Program. “Some of the people within the recovery community that I look up to the most are alumni of or work for The Magdalen House. They are not only beacons in this field, but also shining examples of what it means to be recovered. Not only do I love working with The Magdalen House in a professional capacity, but it has also helped me immensely in my personal recovery journey and growth. I have had the pleasure of being asked to facilitate recovery meetings for the men within their men’s program since its inception. I have seen first-hand the impact that their program has had on these men along with the women they serve.”

When we have worked together with clients, either ones that we refer to them, or vice versa, The Haven staff has always demonstrated great communication skills and we can always rely on them to take the initiative and stay calm under pressure. It has been a pleasure to work directly with them for years, and they are our go-to referral source for potential clients who need medical detox.”
