Tina Shuey serves as Board Chair for The Magdalen House. An alumna of the First Step program, her passion is to be an example of hope for achieving recovery to women who are still suffering from untreated alcoholism. In her work with Maggie’s Women’s Group, she helps keep new women connected to Maggie’s through programs, service work, and community involvement. Maggie’s House provided her with the tools she needed to start a new life, and she credits her involvement in Maggie’s Women’s Group as a cornerstone of her recovery.

Tina graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a BBA and University of Texas at Arlington with a BSW. Having just received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, she is now a LMSW.  While having over 20 years of marketing and advertising experience, Tina has shifted gears to follow her dream of helping others in a professional setting. Tina has also volunteered for other organizations, such as Frisco Women’s League and the Housing Crisis Center.

Tina is the proud Mom of Ryan & Megan and a partner to Laurie Evans.
