A vocal advocate for recovery, Lisa Kroencke is the Chief Executive Officer of The Magdalen House, a leader in Dallas-Ft. Worth recovery-based non-profits. Through Lisa’s leadership, The Magdalen House has grown from a grass-roots organization to become a leading non-profit for alcoholics and their families in Dallas. Lisa began volunteering at The Magdalen House in 2007, became chair of the Board of Directors in 2010, and became its Executive Director in 2016, bringing more than 20 years of fundraising, communications, and board development experience to the position.

Lisa has served as a volunteer and board member to more than a dozen non-profit organizations, including Dallas CASA, Children’s Medical Center Women’s Auxiliary, Nexus Recovery Center Auxiliary Board, and Dallas C.A.R.E. In addition, she has received local recognition for her work on behalf of recovered alcoholics, including DCEO’s 2022 Non-Profit CEO of the Year for mid-size non-profits.

Lisa has been in recovery since June of 2007 and is a passionate voice for alcoholism recovery. She speaks locally and nationally and is a frequent contributor to local print, radio, and television news broadcasts to help destigmatize the disease of alcoholism.
