Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of North Texas, where she studied accounting, criminal justice, and forensic science. Her skills include financial management, event planning, and community outreach. Currently, she is a part-time substitute teacher at Allen ISD, where she supports students across all grade levels. Previously, she worked as an accountant for Lincoln Property Company and Weitzman Management Company, handling budgeting, audits, and financial records, as well as managing payroll and benefits at Bradford HomeSuites.
In her volunteer work, Melissa supports women in recovery at The Magdalen House and is the Next Step Liaison for Maggie’s Women’s Group. She also assists with the Allen ISD PTA and was involved in the Quail Run HOA board and social committee, organizing neighborhood events. Volunteering plays a vital role in her life of recovery and personal growth.
