Kady got connected to Maggie’s when she was six months sober through volunteering with her sober living housemates. She knew as soon as she walked through the door that there was something special happening here. Kady could feel the presence and power of something truly magical. She continued to stay involved by attending evening meetings, being available to sponsor, and even introducing loved ones in need of help to our Social Detox Program.
She is passionate about helping women overcome some of the very same struggles that she’s walked through. Today she understands that her past is her greatest asset when helping another alcoholic woman find freedom. Kady stays actively involved in the local recovery community and comes to The Magdalen House with over two years of experience in the nonprofit and recovery industry. She knows that our volunteers are the lifeline at Maggie’s and is honored to help facilitate that program.
