Having been reported as a missing person to the Rowlett Police Department multiple times in her life and being completely defeated by alcoholism, Rozzie showed up at our door. A staff member of The Magdalen House greeted her with a warm smile and said, “We’re glad you’re here.” From the moment Rozzie accepted our help and began following directions, the drastic change within her was evident to all.
“Thanks to my alcoholism and to the solution I found at Maggie’s I have a better quality of life than I could have ever planned.”
Today, Rozzie is a vital part of our recovery community – a source of hope for women still struggling. She volunteers overnight on a weekly basis and is a mentor for others through our Peer Recovery Program.
Alcoholism is a national epidemic and our agency faces the disease head-on every day. While we are actively providing hundreds of women with a spiritual solution to permanent recovery, we need your help to make our efforts go even further!
It costs our agency $250 per day to facilitate no-cost open classes and meetings for all women in recovery. Please consider a gift to The Magdalen House today. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and continued generosity.
