Meet our Volunteer of the Month, Mandy Turnbaugh!

“Mandy was one of the first volunteers I became familiar with when I started working here. Her dependability and eagerness to serve others really stood out to me. She is always willing to tackle any task, big or small, with a smile on her face. Mandy is such a joy to know!”

– Kelly Williams, Volunteer Coordinator

Mandy + The Magdalen House = 💚

Started volunteering:

January 2021

Has donated a total of:

87 hours, which is valued at $2,483 for our organization, meaning Mandy has helped put a woman through our two-week Social Detox program and the year has yet to end!

You can usually find her:

Everywhere! Mandy helps us out with a ton of projects around the house and with special events.

I’ve never seen her without:

A “can-do” attitude and a cute baseball cap!

One time she:

Organized our pantry from top to bottom!

Our favorite thing about her is:

During meetings, she sits at the front of the room so that she can easily participate when the chair opens up the floor to comments or questions.

The Magdalen House wouldn’t be the same without her because:

Her willingness to get involved is contagious!
