November and December Progress
Outside, the construction team has completed some major site work, including the pouring of our new back porch, parking area, and driveway. The work continues as the team installs steel handrails and the security gate blocking off the back of the property.
In November, we announced that new alumnae will get to sign the Wall of Hope – a deeply meaningful opportunity for women in our recovery community that honors the tradition that began at our original home on Redwood Circle. Construction has begun and we are so excited to see this portion of the project come to life. We can’t wait to admire all the messages of hope and freedom once the wall is complete.
Landscaping will add such life to the exterior and we expect work to begin in early 2021.
Inside, the construction team has been working diligently to complete all trim work throughout the house. The detail around the windows and doors honor this historic home’s character and integrity while creating a beautiful and joyful space.
French gray cabinets are complemented by creamy white walls and trim, making the space feel warm and bright – a sign that interior painting is almost complete. Installation of light fixtures, chosen by Christian Walker Design, add historical charm and beauty to each room. It’s a dream come true!
