Please join us in celebrating Katelyn Daughety, Communications Coordinator of The Magdalen House team! Katelyn is excited to be a part of The Magdalen House team where she can use her communications skills to help alcoholic women and their families in recovery.
1. What led you to want to work at The Magdalen House?
Like many, I grew up impacted by the ripple effects of alcoholism by those around me. As I grew up, I recognized I wanted to dedicate my life to giving back to the community and using my skills in an impactful and beneficial way to others. I just wasn’t sure how to until I found The Magdalen House on LinkedIn. I’m passionate about being a part of the mission to stand by women and help guide them through their journey towards sobriety and rebuilding their relationships.
2. What makes you most excited about being a part of Maggie’s?
Oh gosh… I’m excited about everything! As a visual person, I’m most excited to help with the print and media for The Magdalen House. Attending the graduations and learning more about what the recovery process entails is also exciting!
3. What’s something we should know about you?
I have a 12-year-old German Shepherd and her name is Audrey. I like to take her hiking sometimes, but she doesn’t make it that far… she loves to go anyway though! I also love to host church nights and trying to stay involved in the church.
