Something amazing is happening.
For the third month in a row, more women like Jessica have screened and been admitted into our Social Detox Program. While July has historically been the slowest month of the year, for 2019 it has been the third record-breaking month in a row, closing out at 37 admissions and 97 phone screenings, total.

It makes sense that this drastic increase in women served would result in a packed house for August Birthday Night, but we are awestruck by the 44 names on our Birthday Board. The room was full of hope, love, and over 60 attendees. And, Jessica picked up her two-month chip.
Thanks to the generous support of our donors, dedicated staff and volunteers, and the incredible community that surrounds this little house, Jessica along with many others, have found new life at Maggie's.
"Maggie's brought peace back to my life. Years of feeling broken, hopeless and afraid, have been replaced with love, hope, and grace. God and Maggie's have shown me my purpose and I will forever be grateful, FOREVER."
In love and service,
The Magdalen House Staff and Board of Directors

For North Texas Giving Day, we invite you to Get Up and Give to The Magdalen House in honor of the alcoholic women in your life. Last year we were amazed by the outpour of support we received during this 18-hour giving extravaganza. Between two matching gifts and 167 donors, we received more than $50,000 to help women achieve sobriety and sustain recovery from alcoholism at no cost. Will you help us reach our 2019 goal?
