Daniel was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Growing up in a single-parent household came with its share of hardships and challenges. When he was five years old, his grandfather stepped into his life and, in many ways, became both a mother and a father figure to him. The two shared a deep bond, traveling together often and creating lasting memories. However, over the next 19 years, Daniel would lose sight of the values he was raised with, as addiction slowly took over his life. The disease affected every part of him—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually—bringing with it many highs and lows. Everything began to change in 2022. At five months sober, Daniel had the chance to return to Wisconsin to make amends to his grandfather, his mother, and many others he had hurt along the way. Today, Daniel lives a life filled with purpose and meaning. He maintains a conscious connection with God, sponsors others on their recovery journey, carries the message, and continues to make amends. Along the way, he met the most incredible woman—his best friend and now fiancée. They will be married on October 19, 2025.
